Ashu Engineering Works started back in 1980 and we were into manufacturing of diesel engine generator spares and silencers. Back then, India was mainly a scooter market. The bike market made a slow but steady comeback after the Japanese big four all made their way in India in the mid-’80s. Today, almost 40 years later, it is a different scenario.

By the turn of the century, the Indian market was flooded with bikes. In 2007 our market opened to superbikes. In the last decade, India has risen to become the largest two-wheeler market in the world. Virtually every big bikemaker are today in India, if not manufacturing in India.

Keeping up with the times, we at AEW have expanded our portfolio to manufacture a variety of bike exhaust systems, for a wide range of motorcycles.
